During a time like this we realize how much our family and friends really mean to us.  Your expression of sympathy will always be remembered.  Dear Benevolence Committee,  The kindness you showed by providing a meal for our family brought us a great deal of comfort during this difficult time.  It was so nice to enjoy a home cooked meal and for giving our family much needed time together before the funeral.  Grace was very special to MeMe and it saddened her deeply being unable to attend services and to visit with friends and family.  A special thank you to Don Tayor for his hospital visits, and for his and Pam’s help and assistance before the service.  Thank you for all your sympathy and thoughtfulness.  With Gratitude,  The Family Of Phyllis M. On behalf of all of us at Oconee County Department of Social Services and Fostering Faithfully, thank you very much for you recent contribution to support our Christmas Program.  We are extremely grateful you have responded to our need for help with such compassion and generosity.

Christmas comes once a year, at least for most children.  For some, it doesn’t come at all without a lot of help.  It’s such a blessing to live in a community that puts into action their desire to make a difference.  Due to the responses from you and others to our county’s needs, we were able to provide Christmas assistance including food, clothing, & toys for more than 346 children in Oconee County.

We can do our work only because of the ongoing support we receive from people like you.  Offering a simple “Thank You” for your gift never quite feels like it’s enough to me.  The best I can do is tell you how much we appreciate your continued support for Oconee County Department of Social Services.  We hope we can continue to demonstrate to you that we value your support and that we use it wisely to provide the help that people in crisis need.
