Tommy Knight joined the staff at Grace in 2024 as our Youth Director, bringing with him a lifetime of leadership, mentorship, and heart for the next generation. He is married to Carol Ann, a dedicated middle school principal, and together they share a deep passion for education and community impact.
Tommy holds a Master’s degree in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and has faithfully served as a youth group leader in several churches throughout his career. For 25 years, he’s been a committed leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, blending faith and sports to inspire students to follow Christ with boldness and integrity.
With 36 years of experience as a high school and college teacher, and 33 years as a head baseball coach, Tommy has shaped the lives of countless young people both in the classroom and on the field. His dedication to excellence and leadership in athletics earned him induction into both the Georgia Dugout Club Hall of Fame and the Georgia Southwestern Hall of Fame.
Tommy and Carol Ann are proud parents to two daughters, Erin and Cathryn, and grandparents to five wonderful grandchildren: Luke (11), Max (5), Annie Beth (5), Lane (2), and Huck (1).
Tommy brings energy, wisdom, and a heart full of faith to his role, and we’re blessed to have him leading and discipling our youth at Grace!
